5mm EPE Underlay with Built-in DPM (100M Roll)

£139.98 / Roll

Gold standard 5mm EPE underlay is compatible with all G12 products. Excellent at supporting your flooring as well as helping to reduce airborne & impact noises. Not advise use with underfloor heating as the heat would take much longer to dissipate. A foil vapour barrier with overlap acts as an excellent DPM (damp-proof membrane) to protect your floor from moisture attached to a high-density foam core with high compressive strength. If you are looking for a floor that cushions the same but supports underfloor hearing, see Supreme rubber underlay.

The great advantage of using foam underlay for flooring is that it provides enhanced comfort and reduces noise levels between floors. Foam underlay acts as a cushioning layer between the subfloor and the final flooring material, absorbing sound and impact. This not only creates a more peaceful home environment, but it also means that those living below won't have to endure the sound of every footstep and creak that usually comes with other types of flooring. onally, the foam material used in underlay products can have thermal insulation properties, which can help regulate the temperature of your home and potentially reduce energy bills. Overall, foam underlay is a highly versatile and practical option for anyone looking to upgrade their home flooring.

Showroom samples and photographic reproductions can give an example of the product’s appearance, but they may not be representative of the full range of colour, texture and grain variations which naturally occur in the product itself. The images we provide are for reference only and should not be used as the sole basis for choosing a particular style of flooring. Customers should view actual product samples before making a purchase decision. Before installation of our flooring, customers should examine the product carefully to ensure it meets their expectations for appearance and quality. Flooring that has been installed will be deemed to have been inspected and accepted by the customer. Wood floors will naturally undergo a change in colour when exposed to the ambient light in a home environment.

Generally, colours become richer and grain patterns more harmonised. The effect will vary by species. Our flooring collection is constantly being improved and expanded, product availability and specifications are subject to change without notice. Customers are advised to confirm all product specifications prior to purchase.
